It’s Only August! And, 2016 has already become a defining year for my Wardrobe. So, here I am Sharing my favourite trends – You Shouldn’t Miss on! But, first things first. Fashion is something that evolves season after season, they say nothing is really new in the Fashion Industry – it’s just the evolution of the old. And, the most important thing to know is to NOT TO GET CARRIED AWAY. Trends are for everyone, but your style is your own. So, Be Picky, Be Unique and Be You.
Fashion is what you’re offered four times a year by designers. And style is what you choose.

1. All About The Shoulders (and Arms)
This Trend I am sure you haven’t missed. I am talking about Cut-out Shoulders , Off Shoulders, Cold Shoulders, One shoulder, One arm, Fringed Sleeves, Pom-pom Sleeves, Bell Sleeves, Flared Sleeves, extra long sleeves, cape sleeves …So many options to indulge in.
If you have seen the recent ethnic collection from Manish Malhotra, you would already know how beautiful an off-shoulder blouse can look. Go Princess Jasmine 😉
2. Choker And Collars
This is one trend that has come to compliment the Off Shoulder trend so well, it has me wondering how many Chokers can I have.
Although both collars and chokers being initially clubbed with the off shoulder trend, have now found a place of their own in our wardrobes. They are being paired with deep V necks, plunge necks, Shirts, Sarees…everything.
3. Mattes and Nudes
With the age of Kylie Lip Kits marching in, the craze of Matte has become an obsession.
The Minimal make-up trend got an upgrade with a fair number of Nude shades to pick from.
Now we have Nude Eyeshadows, Nude nail lacquers and Matte Nail Lacquers too. And lets not forget about the Metallic Nudes.
4. Emoji Frenzy and Varsity Patches
If you have already seen emoji patchworks over denims, wait until you find them over Sheer tops.
They add fun to boring and quirk to serious.
5. Denim Reload
If you saw the last year as the year for denim, you must know the fever hasn’t come down yet. I am talking about ripped, distressed, Bell bottoms, patch work, embroidered, flared, fringed ends, rivets, pom poms, emojis etc.
6. Eye Games
Give your smokey eye a break and go for a thick and bold eyeliner look. See how Selena Gomez Did it.
Also Bright Shades for your Eye palette are the latest trend.
7. Prints! Prints! Everywhere!
That not so bright Middle-eastern print is everywhere and you know what? Give it a Chance.
Just try a simple cold-shoulder printed dress with a pair of lace up flats or gladiators and Wear it with a cute beige sling or a fedora hat. Also, these prints work extremely well with Denims.
8. Make a Statement !
A single piece of Statement jewellery can add so much to your look and trust me I am not just talking about LBDs. You have to see how an antique silver necklace looks on a denim shirt.
If you like chunky bling rings, you will love hand harnesses too. Also, go for body chains and cape necklaces. Always remember to keep other pieces of jewellery minimal.
9. Overcoats, Trench coats & Capelets
This Fall, indulge in these trendy options to keep you warm. Choose from metallic details, patent leather, varsity patches, military green, fringes, fur & velvet detailing. Capelets are for days you need the tiniest cover-up, trench coats are next level and overcoats are for full cover up.

10. Sneak it up!
If you loved wearing sneakers in your school days this is good news for you ! Now you can pair your sneakers with dresses, shorts, maxi skirts, culottes… basically everything in your wardrobe. Also, count in Classy Brogues and Oxfords ! Damn’ Daniel!
11. Ditch the Brights
We have moved on from Bright pop of colors to Neon shades and now everyone is obsessing over Tan brown, military green, powder blue, rusty pink, copper, creams and black. Less is More.
If you are not so sure to go all dull, try out the blush pink and yellow trend.
12. Fringe, Tassels and Pom Poms
Tassels can be totally Boho or totally desi. They are so versatile.
Fringes are no longer seen just as an hair style, they are invading our shoes, bags and everything.
Pom-poms are meant for the ladies who are not so sure about Fringes and Tassels, and are looking to add sass and cute to their look. Pom-pom charms for bags are the cutest.
13. Color Loyal
Sick of the Contrast Trend? Wear all the elements of your outfit in the same shade. For beginners, try shades of blue. For rule breakers, try all white!
14. EFFORTLESS Co-ords
These Matching Separates are going from the Western casuals to Indian ceremonies.
15. Mocha Highlights
I am not much of a hair coloring person but I really adore this trend. I love how these highlights are not too loud and at the same time elegant and blend-able.
16. Black Overdose
This is good news for them Black Lovers. It’s time for All black, everything!
17. Reflective Sunnies
Reflective sunglasses are in trend once again but of course with an update. If you don’t like your sunglasses too loud, don’t worry -You have plenty of shades in the reflective style to choose from.
18. Boots
Winter is Coming ! Choose from classic, velvet, fringed, tie up, over the knee, embroidered gladiators, heeled gladiators and metallic detailed boots. The Spice Girls style platform boots are in too.
